Tiffany
Norman

Ms. Tiffany began her dance career at age 3. She was a regional and national competitive dancer through high school, winning numerous awards. She has always had a passion for both children and dance. She combined those two and began teaching dance at a local studio in New York. She continued teaching and then decided to open her own company with a vision of inspiring dancers to experience the love and art of dance. Her vision has developed what INSPIRE Dance has built its foundation on. INSPIRE Dance is proud to host dancers in a welcoming family-oriented environment where dancers receive small group and individualized instruction to foster their highest dance potential. Tiffany strives to provide all dancers the highest quality instruction while developing their confidence and self-development.

Ms. Jasmine - Assistant Director

Ms. Jasmine Burriss is a proud native of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, and a dedicated dance artist and educator. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University, building on the strong foundation she developed at Suitland High School’s renowned Visual and Performing Arts program in Forestville, Maryland.

While at VCU, Ms. Jasmine showcased her versatility and artistry by performing in numerous student and faculty works, collaborating with a diverse range of choreographers. Her professional experience includes working with celebrated artists such as Doug Varone, Nathan Trice, Dawn Marie Bazemore, Johnnie Mercer, and Christopher Huggins — opportunities that further refined her technique and deepened her creative voice.

Throughout her career, Ms. Jasmine has taught at multiple studios across the DMV area, inspiring dancers of all ages and levels. She is especially proud of her work with Inspire Dance Studio, where she continues to nurture students’ passion, discipline, and artistry. With a commitment to excellence and a love for sharing the joy of movement, Ms. Jasmine strives to empower every dancer to realize their full potential.

Ms. Shannon - Creative Director

Ms. Shannon brings over 15 years of experience as a highly accomplished Dance Instructor and Choreographer. Trained extensively in modern (Horton/Dunham), ballet, tap, hip hop, pointe and jazz, she refined her artistry under the guidance of renowned mentors including Sheri Cole, DaKiya Lambert, Sheila Jedlowski, Dwayne Murray, and Quynn Johnson.

Her professional performance credits include appearances with acclaimed companies and teams in the DMV area.

 

As an instructor, Ms. Shannon has worked with dancers of all ages, inspiring them to reach new heights in both skill and confidence. Her choreography has earned numerous accolades on the competitive stage, including multiple consecutive national titles.


Passionate, dedicated, and deeply committed to her craft, Ms. Shannon strives to instill in her students not only technical excellence, but also a genuine love for the art of dance.

Pre-school Instructor

Sebastian Jordan

Instructor

Sebastian Jordan has over 15 years of experience teaching dance, acrobatics, and tumbling throughout the DMV. He has taught students from K–12 at Clinton Christian School, trained gymnasts at Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex, and served as Assistant Director of a 200+ cast Broadway-style production. Trained in a wide range of styles—including hip-hop, ballet, jazz, tap, African, modern, and contemporary—Sebastian is passionate about helping students grow in strength, confidence, and creativity.

Ms. Samantha - Instructor

Ms. Samantha was born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland where she began dancing at her local dance studio, Dancers Dreams at the age of four. She continued her training at Anne Arundel Community College (AACC), earning her Associate of Arts with a concentration in Dance. She then attended Slippery Rock University (SRU) to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance and Choreography and Studio Ownership and Dance Entrepreneurship. At SRU she performed in guest and faculty works including Teena Marie Custer, Jennifer Keller, Nora Ambrosio, Melissa Teodoro, Ryan McMullen, and Lindsay Viatori. Additionally, Samantha has attended various summer programs including FORGE Summer Dance Intensive and Bates Dance Festival Professional Dance Program. Her training includes modern techniques, contemporary, street dance, musical theatre, jazz, ballet, contemporary partnering, improvisation, and commercial heels. She currently teaches and choreographs throughout Maryland to continue educating the new generation of dancers.

Ms. Roxii - Instructor

Ms. Roxii, a DMV-born dancer and choreographer, trained under Alvin Ailey, John Silver, Kiki Ely, Queen P, Artrell Manning, MAKO Girls, Taylor Perrymon, Coco Gilbert, and Dominique Battiste. She has performed and choreographed in Charlotte, LA, and Atlanta, including Blumenthal and Knight Theaters. Roxii brings stories to life through hip hop, jazz, and dynamic choreography, inspiring every dancer to express themselves and own the stage.
