Tiffany
Norman
Ms. Tiffany began her dance career at age 3. She was a regional and national competitive dancer through high school, winning numerous awards. She has always had a passion for both children and dance. She combined those two and began teaching dance at a local studio in New York. She continued teaching and then decided to open her own company with a vision of inspiring dancers to experience the love and art of dance. Her vision has developed what INSPIRE Dance has built its foundation on. INSPIRE Dance is proud to host dancers in a welcoming family-oriented environment where dancers receive small group and individualized instruction to foster their highest dance potential. Tiffany strives to provide all dancers the highest quality instruction while developing their confidence and self-development.
Instructors
Ms. Alaya
Ms. Alaya has been teaching at INSPIRE Dance since 2016. She is currently a student at the University of Maryland, College Park. She was a dance major in the VPA program at Suitland High School, as a dance major where she won numerous awards and scholarships. Alaya is dedicated to teaching the art of dance to future generations. She specializes in jazz, tap, and the intersection of them together. Alaya strives to show her students how to express themselves through the art of dance and to attain confidence in performing.
Ms. Haley
Ms. Haley has been dancing for the past 13 years. She has also been part of a competitive dance company for the past 11 years. She has won numerous regional and national championships during her dance career. Haley plans to further that career this fall as a dance pedagogy and child development major at Dean College, a top ranked dance school.
Ms. Jasmine
Ms. Jasmine is a native of Upper Marlboro, MD, Jasmine Burriss received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University. Jasmine graduated from Suitland High School in Forestville, MD, where she trained in their Visual and Performing Arts program. During her time at VCU she performed in multiple student and faculty works. She has also worked with numerous professional dance choreographers such as Doug Varone, Nathan Trice, Dawn Marie Bazemore, Johnnie Mercer, and Christopher Huggins. Jasmine has worked at a number of studios in the DMV area, but is especially proud of her current time at Inspire Dance Studio.
