At Inspire Dance, we believe dance is more than movement — it’s confidence, teamwork, and artistry. Our award-winning Competition Team is made up of dancers ages 5–18 who dedicate themselves to training, performing, and growing together.
Each season, our team represents Inspire Dance at local, regional, and national competitions, showcasing not only talent but also discipline, creativity, and spirit.

Inspire Dance MD is calling the next generation of standout dancers.
Our annual auditions are your opportunity to step into a high-energy, growth-driven, pre-professional training experience designed for dancers who want more than just classes—they want to level up.
We’re looking for dancers who are:

WHO SHOULD AUDITION
Dancers ages 4–17 with prior dance training are encouraged to audition.
Ideal candidates demonstrate:
• A strong willingness to learn and improve
• Coachability and respect for correction
• Focus, discipline, and consistency
• A desire to train in a structured, high-expectation environment
This is for dancers who are serious about their craft, thrive in a team environment, and are ready to be pushed, polished, and prepared for the next stage.

All prospective dancers should have prior dance training and a foundational understanding of movement and technique.

INSPIRE COMMITMENT CRITERIA
Dancers selected into the Inspire Dance are expected to fully commit to the training experience, including:

Mandatory summer sessions and intensive training programs

Ongoing participation in a structured, pre-professional training schedule

Commitment to all competitions, Nationals, Worlds, community events, and performance opportunities

Participation in both Fall and Spring recitals

Attendance is crucial to the success to our team!
