As part of the COMPETITIVE PERFORMANCE Team, we expect all dancers to demonstrate respect toward all dancers, staff, and family members. Dancers are also expected to come to every class fully prepared, in the correct attire and shoes, and with a positive attitude. These expectations are important for the team to build a positive rapport and professionalism inside the studio. Staff, dancers, and family members will support every member of our team at all times!

Dancers and parents, please do not post any pictures of costumes or videos of dances on social media prior to the first competition. After the first competition, please still be weary of posting complete dances on social media (clips of dances are ok). Best practice may be to ask INSPIRE staff if it is okay to post. At competitions, performances, fundraising events, etc. (whenever out and representing INSPIRE), please display sportsman like behavior (no “booing” or openly discussing other studios costumes, dances, etc.).

It is expected that all dancers, parents, and family members speak only in a positive manner about the studio as a whole, teachers/choreographers, dancers, and families at all times. There will be a “ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY” for gossiping, unsportsmanlike behavior, etc. Any questions or concerns that may arise may be communicated during office hours or a scheduled meeting with staff.

Upon the first offense, a written or verbal warning will be given. Upon a second offense, a dancer may be dismissed from the team without refund.

You will receive a checklist of required items for performance events/competitions, if a dancer does not have all required items for the performance/competition, they may not be able to perform.
